چکیده
In order to study the variation law of shear frictional characteristics steel pipe jacking and sand interface under different working conditions, stress–strain curve between five particle sizes normal stress slurry lubrication conditions was measured by using a direct device, internal friction angle, coefficient cohesion pipe–soil were calculated regression analysis. The test results show that decreases with increase average size sand, strain-softening phenomenon occurs. does not change trend at interface, peak residual values stress. condition are smaller than those no condition. soil lubricated about 20%. angle decrease size, there is obvious pattern quantity relationship size.

Experimental Study on Stress Monitoring of Sand-Filled Steel Tube during Impact Using Piezoceramic Smart Aggregates
The filling of thin-walled steel tubes with quartz sand can help to prevent the premature buckling of the steel tube at a low cost. During an impact, the internal stress of the quartz sand-filled steel tube column is subjected to not only axial force but also lateral confining force, resulting in complicated internal stress. A suitable sensor for monitoring the internal stress of such a structu...
متن کاملthe relationship between eq, iq and test format: a study on test fairness
the major aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between iq, eq and test format in the light of test fairness considerations. this study took this relationship into account to see if people with different eq and iq performed differently on different test formats. to this end, 90 advanced learners of english form college of ferdowsi university of mashhad were chosen. they were ask...

This paper describes comparative experiment on corrugated steel pipe culverts with different stiffness. The two culverts both with 1.2m span and 4m backfill height but with different corrugation pattern and plate thickness were constructed side by side. Displacement, strain and soil pressure at critical points were tested during construction. Two-dimensional (2D) finite element (FE) models were...
متن کاملA comparative in vitro study of frictional resistance between lingual brackets and stainless steel archwires.
Friction between archwires and labial brackets has received considerable attention; however, information on the frictional behaviour of commercially available lingual brackets is limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the frictional resistance resulting from a combination of lingual orthodontic brackets (7th Generation, STb, Magic, and In-Ovation L) and stainless steel archwires at 0...

Introduction: When using sliding mechanics for space closure during orthodontic treatment, friction occurs at the bracket-wire interface. The aim of this study was to evaluate the frictional resistance between monocrystalline (ICE) brackets and Stainless Steel, Beta TMA and NiTi wires. Methods: In this experimental study, we used 5 different types of orthodontic wires. Brackets and wires wer...
